Produced by  Mahmood, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Aruna Irani, and a very big cast including alomst all the comedians of that time and Kishore Kumar in special appearance..

I can't Swim

SITUATION
Three patients in a mental institution prepare for an examination given by the head psychiatrist. If the patients pass the exam, they will be free to leave the hospital. However, if they fail, the institution will detain them for seven years.

WHAT HAPPENED..
The doctor takes the three patients to the top of a diving board overlooking an empty swimming pool, and asks the first patient to jump.

The first patient jumps head first into the pool and breaks both arms.
Then the second patient jumps and breaks both legs.
The third patient looks over the side and refuses to jump.

"Congratulations! You're a free man. Just tell me why didn't you jump?" asked the doctor.
To which the third patient answered, "Well Doc, I can't swim!"

Twilight

Can't describe it as a less than very good movie..

Without too much of fighting sequences, blood and gore, the crew of the movie has been able to generate a really good entertainment.

The most fantastically made scene in Twilight was probably the baseball game scene when the whole vampire family goes for an outing. The background music the location etc. rock the screen.  Later when the rogue vampires barge in .. it gets even more interesting. The lead rogue vampire is beautiful, se**, and ooohhh..

However, the most sexy of the girls was Ashley Greene (Alice in the movie), I leave the girls to keep deciding which of the boys was more se**. Of course, Pattinson has a definite edge over the wolf guy .. heheeh e .. :D

The film has been arguably the best vampire movie till date, and in a sense it might be when the love and affection angle is a stronger consideration. However, if action is what you want in a vampire movie.. probably Underworld can't be beaten by Twilight in any sense.. From Underworld series I started liking Kate Beckinsale..

Ae Husn-E-Beparwah Tujhe (Ghulam Ali)

An awesome ghazal by ghulam ali..

Ghulam Ali is a pakistani ghazal singer.

This is one of the few ghazals that i recently heard and found to be really good ..
I was going home late in the evening and a ghazal program on FM 94.3 aired this nice piece.. instantly, I was in love with it .. :D

Prestige (2006)

A real thriller .. this is what you call thrill!
Christian Bale (also seen in The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Terminator 4, The Mechinist) has beaten many heroes in the art of acting. I am very sure you would absolutely love all the movies i just mentioned above.. And so is this one with an even more intriguing tale about magicians..

It reminded me of another real good movie that saw about magic and magicians, The Illusionist. However, Prestige has its own story and thrill. With each passing moment there was more to watch and the movie got less and lesser predictable.. :D

And I got to see another great actor in this movie which I have really missed since Lord of The Rings, Andy Serkis, better known as Gollum ... :D

Whiteout (2009)

Whiteout is a rather mild thriller which was a good timepass last sunday.. The only reason I watched it, however, was Kate Beckinsale.. After a great vampire series , the UNDERWORLD, Underworld Evolution.. I was seriously looking out for Kate Beckinsale.. And when finally when I got hold on whiteout how could I let it go away?

Shinobi 2005

Shinobi is like some of those good chinese movies which would be classified as good NINJA movies. It characters are exciting and resemble like the ones from X-men series! The most fascinating however, was the hero himself, especially, when you would see him in action. The fighting background was aptly chosen by the director. Unfortunately, such scenes count to one only. :(


Most regretting scene was however, the fight between the older chieftains of the ninja villages because it was one of the most exciting scenes in the movie and as soon as it started off it was cut from the movie.. I couldn't imagine whether it was the lack of creativity that led to dropping of this fight sequence or the director wanted something more important in the movie whicn he/she later forgot to add. Nonetheless, there is a good point in the movie that the story wants to make.
Altogether, the movie is good and watchable though, is it not what you might expect from The House of Flying Daggers or The Hero, or "The Warlords"..
