Robinhood should have been more appropriately named as the "Rise of Robinhood" or something like that for the main theme of the movie revolves around led Robin Longstride to become Robin of the Hood aka Robinhood.. Starring Russel Crowe this movie is worth watching .. It is a little long for the whole content but when a big star like Russel Crowe is there you can bet that at least you can try watching .. and this movie delivers more than that..
Though it could have been made full of action sequences and adrenaline-pumping arrow shoots the director and the story seem to have tried to steer slow and steady.
Crowe is a mere soldier (an archer) in England's army but fate has something different stored for him..
